• Current State of Fee Payment: It has been noted that the progression of school fee payments and course registrations by students is less than satisfactory.
• Students Union’s Plea: The Students Union Executive has requested an extension, highlighting the financial strain on students and their families, especially given the economic hardships.
• Challenges with the New Curriculum: The late release and error-ridden implementation of the new curriculum obstructed the registration process.
• JAMB Portal Re-upload: Newly admitted students must update their bio-data on JAMB’s portal to speed up their admission letters, which are crucial for completing their registration.
• Financial Burden Post-Yuletide: Recognizing the expenditures incurred during the festive season and the upcoming end-of-January salary payments, the financial burden on parents and guardians has been deemed significant.

DELSU’s Extended Deadlines and Late Registration Fees

• New Deadline: The deadline for the payment of school fees and online course registration has been extended to February 5, 2024. This is the final extension, with no further postponement anticipated.
• Late Registration Policy: Starting on February 6, 2024, late registration or school fee payment will incur a penalty fee of ₦10,000.00.
