The revised calendar of academic activities for the first and second semesters 2020/2021 academic session at the Federal University Of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has been published.

According to FUTA academic calendar, the 2020/2021 academic session will end on March 25.

The management of the Federal University Of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has released the revised academic calendar for the 2020/2021 academic session as follows:

During its Special Meeting on February 14, 2023, the Senate approved a Modified Academic Calendar for the 2020/2021 Academic Session in response to the directive from the Federal Ministry of Education regarding the 2023 Presidential and Sectorial Elections. Here are the details:

  • Monday, 28th November, 2022: Registration Portal Opens
  • Monday, 5th December, 2022: Registration Continues & Lectures Commence
  • Monday, 12th December, 2022: Late Registration Commences
  • Monday, 19th December, 2022: Late Registration Ends
  • Friday, 23rd Dec, 2022 to Monday, 2nd Jan., 2023: Christmas/New Year/Mid-Semester Break
  • Tuesday, 3rd January, 2023: Lectures Resume
  • Wednesday, 22nd February, 2023: Election Break Begins
  • Tuesday. 14th March, 2023: Election Break Ends
  • Wednesday, 15th March, 2023: Lectures Resume
  • Saturday, 25th March, 2023: Lectures End
  • Monday, 27th March – Saturday, 1st April, 2023: Lectures Free Week
  • Monday, 3rd April, 2023: Second Semester Examinations Commence
  • Saturday, 15th April, 2023: Second Semester Examinations End
