FULOKOJA New Students Registration Procedure 2022/2023

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the Federal University, Lokoja, that the management of the institution has released the registration procedure for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Federal University Lokoja Fresh Students Registration Procedure.

Only candidates who have been admitted into Federal University Lokoja and have accepted the offer on JAMB e-Facility Portal would be eligible for registration.

Carefully read the guidelines outlined below before commencing the process:

STEP 1: ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER ON THE UNIVERSITY PORTAL

  1. Visit the University website (fulokoja.edu.ng) and click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME, then log in with your JAMB Registration Number to confirm your admission status.
  2. Once successful, click on Pay Acceptance Charges, to generate a payment invoice with RRR.
  3. Successful candidates should generate payment invoices for acceptance charges from the University’s 2022/2023 Admission Portal.
  4. Pay acceptance charge of N20,000.00 using REMITA services (card or bank payment):
    • For Card Payment: Visit remita.net, Click on “Pay an Invoice“, Enter your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), and process your payment with relevant card details.
    • For Bank Payment: Visit any bank of your choice that offers REMITA services and pay using your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) on your invoice.
  5. Return to the University’s 2022/2023 Admission Portal to confirm your payment.
  6. Print your Admission Letter and letter of undertaking

STEP 2: O’LEVEL RESULT VERIFICATION

  1. Return to the University website (fulokoja.edu.ng) and click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME Portal – Submit O’level, to supply your O’level examination detail and scratch card details.
  2. Please note that failure to upload the correct O’level examination detail or a valid and unused examination scratch card detail will lead to automatic disqualification of admission.
  3. Check your university email for confirmation to proceed with your registration
  4. Once successful, proceed to step 3.

STEP 3: PAYMENT OF SCHOOL CHARGES

  1. Visit the University’s Student Portal or click Proceed to Student Portal for payment of School Charges.
  2. Generate and print Payment Invoice for School Charges from the University Student Portal.
  3. Pay your School Charges as stated on the generated payment invoice using REMITA services (card or bank payment):
    • For Card Payment: Visit remita.net, Click on “Pay an Invoice“, Enter your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), and process your payment with relevant card details.
    • For Bank Payment: Visit any bank of your choice that offers REMITA services and pay using your generated RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) on your invoice.
  4. Return to the University Website and click on Student Portal under Student Area to confirm your payment.
  5. After confirmation of payment, print out your School Charges receipt and keep it.
  6. Complete your personal details on the registration forms (Form 01 – 06) provided on the University portal, print and keep them.

*Please note: You are advised to keep all printed documents as you will be required to submit them during registration.

STEP 4: TO BE CARRIED OUT ON RESUMPTION 

  • Medical Certificate of Fitness: Visit the University Health Services Centre to conduct your medical fitness test.
  • COURSE REGISTRATION: Visit the University website and click on Student – Undergraduate – Student Portal – Course Registration, to complete your Course Registration online.
  • Check your Student Portal – Printout – Course Form for the status of your course registration.

Step 5: CLEARANCE

The University runs 2 (two) campuses, Adankolo Campus and Felele Campus (Permanent Site). The Faculty of Science is located at the Adankolo Campus while the Faculties of Arts, Education, Management Sciences and Social Sciences are located at the Felele Campus.

Visit your Department and submit the documents listed below to your Departmental Administrative Officer:

  1. Acceptance Fee E-Payment Receipt
  2. A copy of the Online School Charges Receipt stamped by the Bursary Department
  3. Federal University Lokoja Admission Letter
  4. Form 01 (STUDENT BIO-DATA FORM) online printout
  5. JAMB Result Slip (online printout) – for UTME Candidates
  6. JAMB Admission Letter (Duplicate for Institution use only)
  7. Previous Institution Record (Statement of Result/Certificate) – for DE Candidates
  8. O’level Result(s) (Online Print-out)
  9. Signed Letter of Undertaken (original copy)
  10. Certificate of Local Government of Origin (If Non-Nigerian, Residence Permit)
  11. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
  12. Ten (10) recent Passport Photograph with red background
  13. Medical Certificate of Fitness from the University Health Services Centre only
  14. Completed Course Registration Forms printed from the University portal

Failure to present the above documents will lead to the withdrawal of the offer of admission.

Submit a copy of your STUDENT BIO-DATA FORM (Form 01) and the online School Charges Receipt to each of the Units listed below:

  1. Students Affairs Division
  2. University Library
  3. Sports Unit
  4. University Health Services Centre
  5. University Counseling Centre
  6. Security Unit

  • BEWARE OF IMPOSTORS WHO INTERACT OR SEND YOU SMS WITH PROMISE(S) OF ASSISTANCE IN THE AREA OF ADMISSION, RESULTS, ACCOMMODATION, ETC. FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA MAINTAINS THE BEST ETHICAL PRACTICES IN HANDLING STUDENT MATTERS.
  • BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS LURKING AROUND CAFES OR ON & OFF CAMPUS IN THE HANDLING OF YOUR ATM CARD DETAILS.
  • REPORT ANY FRAUDULENT ACT OR SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES TO THE SECURITY UNIT, FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA
